Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PixelForge AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PixelForge AI provides AI-powered image processing services including upscaling, background removal, face restoration, and image enhancement. The Service is available via our web application and developer APIs.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

4. Credits and Billing

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each image processing operation consumes credits.
  • Free accounts receive a limited number of credits. Additional credits can be purchased via our paid plans.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR.
  • Credits are non-transferable. Unused credits on subscription plans do not roll over unless stated otherwise.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if a processing job fails due to a service error.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, process, or generate illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Create deepfakes or manipulated media intended to deceive, harass, or defame any person.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated systems to abuse the Service beyond your plan's rate limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to images you upload. PixelForge AI does not claim ownership of your content. Processed images are yours to use as you see fit, subject to applicable law.

The Service itself, including its design, code, and AI models, is the intellectual property of PixelForge AI.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing and deleted automatically after 24 hours unless you choose to save them.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. PixelForge AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, infrastructure issues, or third-party outages may cause temporary disruptions.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
